what the people said about Henley Festival 2009

It was an excellent evening thoroughly enjoyed by all my guests, in my view one of the best entertainment opportunities of the year.
Ian Carstairs, Invesco Perpetual

Absolutely loved it - everything was perfect. 100% positive feedback from all the guests. Albert Roux restaurant was excellent - whole evening couldn't be improved.
Dawn Brown, Invesco Perpetual

... everybody concerned with the Henley Festival did an outstanding job and I would like to congratulate you all on such a herculean effort.
Sir John Madejski, sponsor (Clearview Traffic)

Once again, congratulations to all concerned for ensuring the Henley Festival 09 was both magical and memorable for both myself and my guests.
Stuart Webb, audience member

Many thanks again for arranging another spectacular Henley Festival. We had the pleasure of attending on Weds, Thurs and Sat evenings ... and I wanted to comment particularly on the Three Mo' Tenors who were absolutely FANTASTIC! They are immensely talented and versatile and kept going from one marvellous song to another.
Lucy Montgomery, audience member

I have been coming to the Henley Festival for 21 or more years and was hugely impressed by the Bowjangles act this year. Of all the small acts this is the best. I do hope you will ask them back next year. Not only were they very funny indeed but they are clearly very talented musicians and singers. Perhaps they should be given space on a proper stage!
Dr Iain Clark, audience member

Each night was a beautifully balanced and eclectic mix of entertainment that made the whole experience quite magical. It is a credit to your creativity and the professionalism of your production team.
Alan Elston, audience member

It's an amazing set up you have there at Henley - many congratulations on a really successful evening.
Mike Hollingsworth, audience member

I just wanted to pass on to Stewart Collins an appreciation from our party at the Puccini evening. The format was one of the best presentations myself & party had experienced over the years we have been going to the Festival. With the inimitable James Naughtie acting as interlocutor simply explaining the relevance of each piece within a given opera was masterly. It almost goes without saying the 4 principles were outstanding.
Walter Trimlett, audience member

Congratulations on another terrific Henley Festival. It was a terrific night last night. Unique and very special.
Marianne Bell, Editor BBC Radio Berkshire

Dear Mandy, Andy, Stewart and all the very inspiring team,
Thank you again for another great year of "true" music (I could not agree more with Stewart). The concert was uplifting ! I wish you all a lovely Summer.
Carole Hérault, parent of Henley Festival Orchestra member on the SHOUT! concert.

it was a truly memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
